Stephan joined the firm in July 2025 working in our Commercial team.
Stephan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2018. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Massey University in New Zealand.
Stephan was admitted to practice in October 2020 and prior to practising he worked as an Usher and then Associate to a Judge of the District Court of Western Australia. His first two years of practise were at a boutique firm in the Perth CBD dealing with an even mixture of criminal and civil matters. He then moved to a small firm in Fremantle and shifted his focus to primarily civil and commercial matters ranging from transactional drafting and dispute resolution.
At Lynn and Brown, Stephan approaches all work diligently and focuses on achieving the best result possible for his clients.
Stephan speaks Afrikaans and German at a conversational level and dabbles in many other languages. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
