The team at Lynn & Brown recently got together to celebrate their annual Christmas in July function.

The annual celebration is a time for the team to get together in a relaxed social environment and recap on the major milestones of the first six months of the year as well as to provide staff with a reward for their continued hard work. The event is always a highlight in the team’s calendar and this year the function was held in the boardroom at their Morley office.

The team also decided it wanted to get more into the Christmas spirit by giving something back to its local community and making a donation to a local charity group. Shopfront WA in Maylands was chosen.

Shopfront WA operates is a service run predominantly by a team of volunteers who offer people practical assistance, fellowship and hospitality in their time of need.

“This group does such wonderful work in our local community which largely goes unnoticed,” said Steven Brown, who suggested Shopfront WA as the charity to support.

“Shopfront WA relies heavily on donations and we are pleased that we were able to make a small contribution which will help support their ongoing work in providing assistance to visitors experiencing difficulties dealing with problems in their life,” he said.

The team held a raffle and auctioned off a bottle of Moet during the afternoon festivities and raised a total of $500 for the cause.
